| Avonmouth 'Bioliquid Power Station' application |

A company called W4B submitted a planning application to build a power station at Avonmouth that would burn Palm oil or Jatropha oil. Bristol council rejected it but they appealed to the government. Letters to politicians are needed in the next week or two regarding the issues. Sustainable renewable energy on a large scale must be captured directly from sun, wind and water - destroying rainforests to produce

| This short video considers some ideas for Bristol City Council to further coordinate measures for saving future fuel bills, creating green jobs, buying into renewable energy, accessing energy efficiency loans and more. On 10/11/09 Bristol City Council passed a motion to create an action plan for 40% CO2 cuts by 2020. This is great news! Please congratulate your councillors and Neil Harrison who tabled the motion, and support them to make a strong action plan.
