A company called W4B submitted a planning application to build a power station at Avonmouth that would burn Palm oil or Jatropha oil. Bristol council rejected it but they appealed to the government. Letters to politicians are needed in the next week or two regarding the issues. On 10/11/09 Bristol City Council passed a motion to create an action plan for 40% CO2 cuts by 2020. This is great news!
